Reality Check, What side are you on?

                        Once again I see we have veered horribly off topic which I suspect was the intent of some. The battle we have before us has nothing to do with social issues, those will be decided in due course and are CERTAINLY NOT of primary importance at this point in time no matter how much certain individuals may insist they are.

The fact is, Gay marriage, abortion, legal drinking age, and texting while driving while important, and worth discussion at appropriate times in threads which relate to them, simply aren’t going to divert my attention from the true matter at hand and the issues at the forefront of the upcoming fight.

We have an individual, his friends, minions, flunkies, cronies, and puppet masters threatening to dismantle our country, divide it from the inside out, usurp not only our constitution, but EVERYTHING we and generations of our ancestors have fought and died to maintain. It’s about Liberty, and Justice, it’s about FREEDOM, TRUTH, and the American way of life, and the fact that we are losing ALL of it, EVERY SINGLE aspect of it more with every passing day.

It’s about the fact that we are being manipulated, lied to, stolen from, spied on, watched, targeted, threatened, and silenced, it’s about a handful of individuals who believe that they are above the law, untouchable, and can do what ever they please when ever they please to whom ever they please, and NEVER have to pay a price, or take responsibility for having done it.

It’s about far too many Americans who have become so complacent,manipulated, brain washed and desensitized that they no longer see any of these things as a reason to FIGHT, not for their country, not for themselves, not for their children, and sure as hell not for their country, and even if they did, they lack the self respect, patriotism, motivation and backbone to do anything about it.

It’s about getting in their faces, and “bitch slapping” them back into reality, waking them up and snapping them out of it, because if we don’t, mark my words, The United States of America will go down without so much as a whisper, and every one of us will be condemned to a life filled with regret for what we could have done, should have done, and would have done if only we had the chance to do it over again.

It’s about generations to come never knowing what it is like to be FREE. To be able to speak their minds, think for themselves, and do as they please.

It’s about relinquishing control of when you eat, and drink, what you may have, and how much you may have. It’s about relinquishing control of the right to decide where you live, how you live, and what you live like. It’s about being told what sort of clothes you are to wear, what kind or if you’ll be allowed to have a car to drive, what music you’ll be allowed to listen to, what books you’ll be allowed to read, and what versions of history your children will be taught in what schools you’ll be forced to send them to.

It’s about what soap you use, how often you’ll be allowed to use it, and even WHO will be allowed to use it, what job you’ll be told to perform and how you’ll be told to perform it. It’s about control of your every thought, deed, reaction, and movement being dictated by those who don’t give a rats ass whether you live or die.

So let me be perfectly clear, at this point in time, at this moment, and for every moment in the foreseeable future, I don’t give a damn whether you are gay or straight, whether your thing is teddy bears or stuffed sheep, or olive jars, if you are willing to stand and fight with me to save this country, and put it back in the right direction, I’ll stand and fight for your right to say and do who or what you please providing it is consensual and doesn’t involve anyone under the age of 18.

If on the other hand, you are too self absorbed, too busy, too thoughtless, too ignorant, too lazy, too scared, too cowardly, or too apathetic and indignant to bother, you can bet those of us who aren’t, either won’t be around and allowed to stand for you, or we won’t bother to. It’s that simple, It’s that complicated, and it’s time to choose.

I choose to FIGHT! Enough said.
