Social or Unsocial Media Websites
The thing with any social media websites are to find those which fulfill your needs. I am sure that for some people they have found one that they call home and good for them, they are the fortunate ones. However for people like myself and many of our members one is not enough. I belong to several social media websites and have appreciated the information and opinions that I have gotten from each of them.
First of all I would be remiss if I did not the biggest, most successful, the most loved and the most hated. Of course I am referring to FB or what I call Famous Brooke. I know many hate it, feel it is too liberal, too restrictive and many other things. But I must give credit where credit is due, they created it, and it worked. I remember when AOL was the standard which everything was judged by, well FB has flown past that and exploded in popularity. It is the social media platform that everyone strives to be and is compared to.
This site is a social media website that is trying to grow as a conservative alternative to FB. Like most sites it has some enthusiastic members, the sporadic members and those that sign up and then never really contribute. They rely on ad sales and donations to pay for the costs of operating and maintaining the site. They are forthright and admit they are not where they want to be with all functions of the site but they are working on it. This is their privacy statement: Privacy Statement
