Something Stinks!!!!

Something Stinks… by Chuck Pithy

One of my favorite sayings is “timing in life is everything”.  For those who are political junkies like myself, we are use to what we call the DC document dump.  This dump is most often done on late Friday afternoon and consists of all the things the administration does not want publicity on.  The democrats and this administration has been absolute geniuses about timing for getting the media play or avoiding the media play.

Now the reason I bring this up was the curious timing of the historic vote of the Nuclear Option (see my blog post on Nuclear Option  http://www.passionatepachyderms.com/jfk-rolling-grave/).  The Senate is not going to vote on any judicial or executive nominees immediately, heck they are all going home for Thanksgiving.  I know this is a bit off topic, but what job other than congress do you get an entire week off for Thanksgiving???  The timing on the vote just did not make sense, logic dictated, the vote should have taken place Friday afternoon.  But this morning the reason why became crystal clear.

Today, Friday November 22, 2013 is the 50th anniversary of the assassination of President Kennedy.  The tributes, stories, photos and articles had been planned for weeks, and nothing short of all out war, was going to change these plans.  So the democrats in the Senate, used an assassinated dead president as cover, for one of the worst rule changes in history.  Even worse it was one of their own, a democrat, they used for cover.  Each time I keep thinking the democrats can’t do something worse they prove me wrong.

Something does stinks, and it stinks to high heaven.  That stink is the shameful democratic party.  But as usual, the ends justify the means for them.  I am ashamed that people like this represent us in government, and yes it still stinks!

I am Chuck Pithy and I tell it like it is!
